TMB-500EX

TMB-500EX is a six-layer hybrid structure audio board with four D-REN EX spacers, crafted using the high-grade water-resistant birch plywood featured in our flagship audio rack, “Magnesia”. Building upon the core structure of the TMB-300, a previous limited-production flagship model, the TMB-500EX has been further refined by applying the new “Magnetic ZERO Process” to the magnesium plate and incorporating an additional copper shielding layer. These enhancements significantly improve vibration absorption and electromagnetic wave shielding, leading to even greater sound quality.

The board consists of six meticulously selected layers:
• Top layer: Premium Russian birch laminated board, renowned for its superior acoustic properties.

• First middle layer: Copper shield, effectively blocking electromagnetic noise.

• Second middle layer: Pure magnesium plate, offering exceptional vibration absorption.

• Third middle layer: Vintage solid teak wood, one of the world’s top three finest hardwoods, chosen for its outstanding sound characteristics.

• Bottom layer: Carefully selected high-density MDF board.

• Base contact layer: Newly developed “D-REN EX” high-fidelity spacer.

Newly Developed “D-REN EX” Spacer
D-REN EX spacer was specially designed for the TMB-500EX, improving upon the standard DREN Pro model with enhanced structural strength. The internal magnesium alloy foil has been upgraded to the newly developed”Pure Magnesium Foil”, refining the sound purity for exceptional audio performance.

“Phantom Earth Duct” – A New Innovation
Additionally, we have introduced the “Phantom Earth Duct”, strategically placed on all four outer edges. This system releases internal air pressure, effectively reducing stress in the sound image, minimizing compression, and enhancing spatial expansion.

These advancements result in an unprecedented level of soundstage depth, silence, and a pure, distortion-free audio image, bringing lifelike realism directly in front of you.
