A detailed listening report comparing TiGLON’s cable series has been published by Dynamic Audio 5555, one of Japan’s most renowned high-end audio specialist stores, located in Akihabara, Tokyo.
Dynamic Audio 5555 has been carrying TiGLON products for many years and currently serves as a TiGLON Premium Shop, introducing the appeal of our products to many customers. We are deeply grateful for their ongoing understanding and support.
In this listening report, Mr. Shima and Mr. Sugimoto of H.A.L.3 conducted a thorough comparison of TiGLON’s three main series — Azure Dragon, Premium 2000, and White Tiger — using a real high-end audio system.
Using high-quality components from ESOTERIC, LUXMAN, DELA, and ISOTEK, the report covers not only interconnect cables but also LAN cables and power cables, examining the sonic characteristics of each series and the improvements brought by upgrading.
■ Azure Dragon (MS-DR20-AD Series)
Praised for its monitor-like sonic character that draws out the true qualities of connected components, along with its excellent value for money. It was also introduced as one of the most popular series in the H.A.L.3 showroom.
■ Premium 2000 (TPL-2000 Series)
The improvement in soundstage width, information retrieval, and fine musical expression compared to the Azure Dragon was noted and highly appreciated. This series is also used daily as a reference cable in the H.A.L.3 listening room.
■ White Tiger (TPL-3000-WT Series)
The latest White Tiger series received high praise for its openness, spatial expression, and information retrieval, as well as its ability to express music naturally and vividly. Mr. Shima’s comment was particularly memorable:
“It’s not about showing off how impressive it is — the music itself just comes alive.”
This resonates deeply with TiGLON’s own philosophy in product development, and we are truly delighted to hear it. The White Tiger LAN cable, TPL-3000L-WT, was also highlighted as one of the most highly regarded cables to have appeared in the past year.
In addition to comparing the three series, the report also explored the practical question: “Which cable — LAN, power, or interconnect — is most effective to upgrade first?”
The findings showed that LAN cables brought improvements in tonal purity, while power cables contributed more to a sense of energy and scale. The report also noted, from the perspective of seasoned professionals, that the ideal upgrade path varies depending on the system and the sound qualities being sought.
Another particularly striking comment from Mr. Shima was:
“What makes TiGLON special is that even at higher grades, the cables never become too dominant in the sound.”
Rather than imposing their own character, TiGLON cables allow the true qualities of the connected components and the music to shine through more naturally. This is a direction that TiGLON has pursued throughout its history, and we are honoured to have it recognised in this way.
