MZ-Grande insulators were recently reviewed in the Polish online magazine High Fidelity, where they received high praise.
Below is a brief excerpt from the article:
High Fidelity’s Wojciech Pacuła conducted an in-depth listening test of the MZ-Grande in his reference system, using the Ayon Audio CD-35 HF Edition.
In his review, he first highlights the overall sonic character, praising in particular how the MZ-Grande “brings the sound together in a natural, smooth way and lets you enjoy music comfortably and effortlessly.”
Rather than simply rounding off the treble, the MZ-Grande increases midrange density and makes the connection between instruments smoother, so that the music as a whole sounds more naturally coherent.
At the same time, bass weight and openness in the upper midrange and treble are improved, giving a greater sense of soundstage width compared with the previous MZX model.
Mr. Wojciech Pacuła also notes how easy it is to listen for long periods:
“Because unwanted harshness is reduced and the music seems to ‘flow gently’, it remains comfortable to listen to across all genres – jazz, classical, blues, metal, hip-hop and more. It was also impressive that even when the volume was raised slightly, the sound never became fatiguing, allowing you to enjoy the added energy while the overall coherence of the presentation is preserved.”
The review also includes particularly striking comments such as:
“a natural warmth, like switching from a transistor amplifier to a tube amplifier,” and
“a product that makes you want to keep listening to music.”
These impressions clearly show that the MZ-Grande is regarded not just as an accessory, but as an essential element for enjoying music in a deeper and more engaging way.
