We are pleased to share that our flagship LAN cable, the TPL-3000L-WT (White Tiger), has been reviewed in the Summer 2026 issue of MJ Audio Technology (MJ無線と実験), published June 10, 2026.
MJ Audio Technology is Japan’s oldest audio and electronics magazine, founded in 1924 and long regarded as the most authoritative publication in the Japanese audio world. Being reviewed in MJ is a meaningful recognition for any audio product.
The review was conducted by audio critic Takashi Iwai, who compared the TPL-3000L-WT against a standard OA-grade LAN cable. His findings were striking: the background became noticeably quieter, the weight and focus of the soundstage improved, and the overall tonal density became more refined. Orchestral performances were described as open and well-separated, with natural low-end control, while solo violin passages were rendered with a delicate, supple touch and impressive S/N ratio. Vocals were noted for their sharp imaging focus combined with a smooth, unhurried quality — ultimately summarised as a “well-balanced expressiveness” that left a strong impression.
Network audio and music streaming have become an increasingly popular way to enjoy music, and audiophiles across Japan and Asia have begun to discover something remarkable: the LAN cable matters. In a streaming setup, noise and interference introduced through the LAN cable can have a real impact on what you hear — a quieter background, a more focused soundstage, and a more musical presentation are all within reach with the right cable.
If you have not yet considered what your LAN cable might be doing to your sound, this could be the perfect moment to find out.
The TPL-3000L-WT is also featured alongside the TPL-3000A-WT (White Tiger) power cable in a back-cover advertisement in the same issue.
